The Critical Biology Studies Journal Club was set up in May 2022, and serves as an online, informal platform for biology educators, biologists, biology enthusiasts, and STS researchers to engage with texts that place biological sciences within its sociopolitical and historical context.

The group meets sporadically every few months to discuss readings that are of interest to journal club members. Presently, the format is for a member to propose and discuss a reading, and engage the group in discussion.
